General Submission Guidelines

  1. We welcome submissions of fictional work – including short stories, flash fiction, and standalone novel excerpts – poetry, essay, and nonfiction. Individual anthologies may have specific requirements.

  2. All genres are allowed, with the exception of fanfiction and erotica.

  3. Long-form submissions may not exceed 5,000 words. Poetry should be limited to three pieces of no more than 100 lines apiece unless otherwise specified by the unique Call for Submissions.

  4. Up to three (3) submissions are allowed per person as long as the cumulative word count does not exceed the stated maximum for the medium in which you are submitting.

  5. Submissions primarily in English are preferred. However, exceptions may be made at our discretion. If submitting in a language other than English, please note this is your cover letter.

  6. All submissions must be original works of the contributor. We do not accept AI generated work.

  7. We strictly prohibit hate speech, plagiarism, and libel in all forms. Any submission that violates this rule will be immediately disqualified.

  8. Please format your submission in 12-point Times New Roman or a similarly legible font, double-spaced with one-inch margins. Submissions must not include any identifying information.

  9. Submissions must saved as a MS Word document. If submitting multiple pieces, each should be uploaded as its own file.

  10. Along with your submission, please include a short biography of yourself (no more than 150 words) written in the third person.

  11. By submitting your work, you grant us the right to publish your work in our anthologies, both in print and digital format. You retain the copyright to your work and may republish it elsewhere after the anthology is released.

  12. Simultaneous submissions are accepted with notice.

  13. There is no fee to submit work.

  14. Individual feedback is not guaranteed, but requests for such may be noted in your cover letter.

  15. Accepted writers will not receive cash compensation for their contribution but may receive a complimentary copy of the anthology and have access to discounted author copies following publication.
